Justice Delayed…

Justice Delayed…

http://tumeke.blogspot.com/

My release date is 4 April 2007

The date of my appeal hearing is 22 February 2007

Mathematics was never my strong suit, but isn’t that only about five and a half weeks before I’m going to be getting out anyway?! (Does Terence Arnold set the fixtures dates?). Can I appeal the appeal date?

Christmas and the festive season…in prison…wonderful. Thank you, Judge Bouchier what a marvelously skilled jurist you are – especially the other week when I saw you on TV giving Home Detention to a guy whose street racing killed someone. So wise not to give Home D to me, after all I haven’t killed someone, I haven’t recklessly endangered the public resulting in a death, so obviously I’m unworthy – if only I’d run over and killed a pedestrian on the way to deliver a “seditious” press release then maybe I’d have Home Detention as well. If only I had snuffed out a human life…maybe then?

The rest of the year…in prison. Thank you, Appeal Court of New Zealand: so prompt, so efficient – words really can’t express how I feel about it.
