The PM back home and answering questions in the Beehive Theatrette
After a year of refurbishment the Beehive Theatrette was once again the setting for the Prime Minister's regular Monday afternoon press conference. Gone was the bilious yellow carpet and shiny blue curtains – the design reflecting a more 'Logan's Run-future is now' approach.
Thankfully for Scoop and most of the people present the futuristic Logan's Run type theatrette was a 'Sandman' free zone.
In a longish press conference that traversed the appalling weather, resulting electricity crisis in Auckland and deported foreign chaps there was to be no termination of 30+ citizens of Aotearoa by black clad enforcers of a youthful science fiction utopia.
Listen to the PM discussing the electricity outage in Auckland and deportation of national security risks
