NEWSFLASH: Labour Passes National In Votes & Seats
The Labour Party MMP Party vote, 740,246 has just overtaken the National Party Party vote on 739,640, making it almost certain that Labour will form the next Government.
New Zealand First's Winston Peters has stated that he will support the party with the most seats on confidence and supply.
With Labour now on 50 seats Mr Peters is now honor bound to back Labour into Government or at least abstain on confidence and supply allowing Labour to form the next government.

Labour picked up a seat at the expense of the Progressive Party's Matt Robson.
