Rep. John Conyers, 500,000 Americans & 122 Congressional Representatives Seek Downing St Memo Answers At White House

In the following images from Indymedia Washington DC Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., left, ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, hand-delivers a petition from more than 500,000 Americans to the White House via an unidentified White House aide. John Conyers petition, also signed by 122 congressional representatives, seeks an inquiry into the so-called Downing Street Memos.
During the presentation of the petition Mr Conyers was accompanied by around 300 protestors. The presentation followed hearings held in the Capitol Building and carried live by C-Span.
