Scoop Images: Peters Launches Hard-Hitting Immigration Policy
New Zealand First leader Winston Peters launched the party's predictably hard hitting immigration policy at a conservative Grey Power gathering at Orewa - the bastion of old-styled Torydom.
The party's policy includes a long term population strategy, a major fraud investigation unit and compulsory DNA testing - all points of a new five-point immigration plan.
1. Comprehensive Population Policy
2. Reform Immigration Service
3. Change Immigration Laws
4. Review Humanitarian Role
5. Industry Clean-up

Not a brown face among them: Orewa's St John's Catholic Church Hall held around 200 Grey Power supporters who turned up to hear details of New Zealand First's immigration policy.
Grey Power members captivated by Winston Peters' ideas.
Understandably, no one from the Orewa Thai restaurant attended the launch.
And wisely, no one from the amazingly delicious Sahara restaurant turned up either!
