Maori Party Co-Leader Tariana Turia is expected to be comfortably elected today to the seat of Te Tai Hauauru in a by-election sparked by her resignation from Parliament on April 30th. Ms Turia is facing no serious opposition in her bid to regain her seat and the major news of this evening is expected to be news of the turnout.
