HARD NEWS 18/09/03 - Magic and Eternity

A couple of nice posts from the lads, below.

It has rather belatedly come to my attention that that the process of signing up for the Hard News mailing list was not nearly as clear as it ought to have been. Old copy, mystery links, etc. It wasn't *meant* to be a secret ...

So I've made some changes to the Hard News email template and the subscription page at bFM, and made the link to the sub page more prominent on the Public Address site.

One more change looms: the Hard News list is really now the Public Address mailing list, and on Wednesday next week I'll change the "from" information accordingly. Everything else about the list will stay the same.

I've held off till now on the basis that you don't fix things that aren't actually broken, but I think it's time. So be prepared to change your filters, rules and whitelists next Wednesday.
