The folks over at sharetrader.co.nz have been having a whole lot of fun coming up with captions for the picture of George W. Bush featured on Scoop yesterday.

The share trader club was challenged with the following missive from senior club member wsheridan.
“Good to see here that GWB is on the path of Osama - wherever he might be. Anyone want to suggest a caption for this picture. My first crack at it is. ‘Hey, I see what you guys mean - these night-vision goggles are great, they make everything look just like night.’”
Their answers were so enlightened that Scoop has taken the liberty of copying a selection of them for your reading pleasure:
“I can see the future boys. It dont look promisin'"
"Can you guys see where dad left the keys to the fallout shelter?"
“Who needs a crystal ball guys. These crystal binoculars tell me its a black day for Osama.....”
“Hot dang - these new dvd players are great - when do the pictures start.”
“This new pretzel scanner is great. “
“We spent $1billon these! Where's the xray-spec mode. “
“Oh these are great! My proctologist uses them all the time. “
“See that tower over there ... that's the first oil rig we're gonna take! “
"Well if I can't see it, there can't be an economic crisis on the horizon."
"It`s no use damn it! Even with these things I still can`t find Wally!!"
- Scoop readers are invited to post in their own caption suggestions to editor@scoop.co.nz
