U.S. Unilateralism Is Crystal Clear Now…

U.S. Unilateralism Is Crystal Clear Now…

“Our freedom has been challenged”, “Our democracy has been attacked” “The great nation on earth”, “America the most powerful nation on earth”, these are the words, George W. Bush has continuously been using since the 9/11 attacks. Behind these words, Bush’s administration has well planned global operation to control this globe once and forever.

(1) The annihilation in Afghanistan by the most dangerous military arsenals - proclaiming the reasons to haunt and kill the terrorists which resulted more than 20 thousand innocent civilians victims and hundreds and thousands dislocated in the horrendous mountain trains while the declared suspects Mulla Omar and Osama Bin Laden mysteriously disappeared

(2) Deployment of warships in Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf and elsewhere

(3) Secret deal and arms salesl to India

(4) Launching mass campaign through FBI and CIA agents, all around the world to capture every possible hardliner Muslim and lock them up in the most isolated island on earth ‘Guantanamo Bay’

(5) Attack on Iraq with the clear intentions to Control the Oil Resources of the Gulf; Get rid of any kind of threat to Israel from possible attack by Iraq and subsequently undertake Iran and then Pakistan to get the complete control in the Gulf and Arab Region.

These master plans of Bush administration are now clearly proved by the 33-page document, titled “The National Security Strategy of the United States” released by US administration at the weekend. The document projects Bush's comprehensive rationale for shifting military strategy towards pre-emptive action against hostile states and terrorist groups pointing to Muslim states without directly refereeing their names.

The document says that President Bush has no intention of allowing any foreign power to catch up with the huge lead the United States has opened since the fall of the Soviet Union more than a decade ago and US will never allow its military might to be challenged the way it was during the Cold War.

The document unveils how US will exploit its military and economic power to encourage "free and open societies" which it defines as "a distinctly American internationalism". Much of the document focuses on how public diplomacy, the use of foreign aid, and changes in the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank can be used to win what it calls a battle of competing values and ideas – including what it calls "a battle for the future of the Muslim world".

Defining the strategic control over the world and deal with remaining powers, it says, with Russia no longer able to come close to matching US military spending, the doctrine seems aimed at rising powers like China. The document affirms that US forces are strong enough to dissuade potential adversaries from pursuing a military build-up in hopes of surpassing, or equaling, the power of the United States. It also says that US will never subject its citizens to the new International Criminal Court, refers to it as ‘whose jurisdiction does not extend to Americans’.

After analyzing this detailed document, one must not have any doubt on US agenda and its intention to use its military might if required to dominate the world once and forever. Commenting on Bush’s unilateralism approach, the Noble Peace Prize winner Nelson Mandela, in his recent statement, says that US is a great threat for the world peace. Analyzing the recent released document and the current intentions of Bush administration to attack Iraq even if UN Security Council turns down the resolution for any use of military power against Iraq, one can understand the fear Nelson Mandela has about US.

The Vice President Dick Cheney, speaking to the media, said, “US doesn’t have any unilateralism behavior, even if US takes action against Iraq without the consent of UN Security Council, the UK, Australia and some other countries will stand with US”. The unconditional support of UK, Australia and probably few other European countries, is quite palpable and understandable. These countries, especially UK and Australia find no better option, for their survival, than to remain with US even if they have to sacrifice their relations and loose some business with the nations.

In regard to the issue of Iraq, the ones who still feel that it is a matter of destroying Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction should read and analyze this document with open eyes and minds. Being the only military might with powerful network of its secret agencies around the world, eventually, Bush administration will bring Russia and China to stand on their side as Bush administration finds some inducements to offer to Russia on its problems over Chechen and Georgia activists, similar kinds of deal can also be offered to China as China also need US ignorance on China’s dispute over Taiwan. As matter of fact, Russia, China or may be some European Countries may not want to support or see US to control the Oil resources or become the only remaining power in the world to dictate on any matter but when the matter comes to crush the Islamic rising power these countries unanimously will be ready to let the US to lead the mission. The operation which started from Afghanistan is now entering in its second phase, Bush has already given green signal to Ariel Sharon to either eliminate Yasir Arafat or throw him out from Palestine. More than 50,000 thousands troops, hundreds of fighter aircraft and heavy military arsenals have already been deployed in Kuwait. The US army operations chief has already started preparation to launch a attack with massive military power on Iraq from Kuwaiti’s border.

The Muslim heads of states, in the Arab region or around the world, which are opting silence on US open belligerences and threats against Iraq, may close their eyes, on what is happening in Ramallah against Yasir Arafat in the besieged building. Do the heads of Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Egypt and Saudi Arabia feel that the attack on Iraq by US would not harm them? Yet the question remains there, will elimination of Saddam Hussain and Yasir Arafat or control over Iraq and Palestine will be the end of US aggression? Whatever is happening with Yasir Arafat or will happen to Saddam Hussain could happen to each of the remaining sluggish heads of states ….
