Poll Watch: Dominion Post/BRC Wellington Central

The Wellington Central electorate appears to be getting both Greener and safer for incumbent MP Marian Hobbs in a Dominion Post BRC Marketing And Social Research poll published today.
Party Vote Standings (Would Most Likely Vote For, Would Vote For* see note below):
Labour – 40 % , 36%
National – 16% , 14%
Greens - 11%, 10%
ACT – 7%, 6%
NZ First – 3%, 3%
Alliance - 2%, 2%
Progressive Coalition – 1%, 1%
United Future NZ – 1%, 1%
None, undecided and refused to answer – 19% , 27%
(*Methodology note: A push poll, respondents first asked who they would vote for, then, if undecided, who they would “most likely vote for”. In the first round 27% either refused to answer, were undecided or were not planning to vote. After the “push” 19% of respondents did not record a preference.)
Electorate Vote Standings:
Labour (Marian Hobbs)- 32%
National (Hekia Parata) – 15%
Greens (Sue Kedgley) - no figure published, campaigning for party vote only.
ACT (Stephen Franks) - no figure published, campaigning for party vote only.
Alliance - (Robert Reid) 1%
Undecided – 40%
(Poll of 300 Wellington Central Voters conducted July 2nd-4th. Margin of error + or – 5.7%) ..
