The southerly blow presently innundating Southland and Otago in snow has its compensations for surfers here in Wellington. The following images were taken on Wellington’s South Coast yesterday evening when the capital’s surfers were out in force taking advantage of 5-10 foot “clean” breaks in Lyall and Houghton Bays.
