CNN Refuses to Call Bomb Plot an Act of Terrorism

Two Jewish members of the Jewish Defense League were arrested in Los Angeles early Wednesday in connection with an
alleged plot to bomb Arab-American and Islamic institutions in Culver City, California.
In a stunning U.S. Attorney’s office news conference, U.S. Attorney John Gordon revealed that “the chairman and another
member of the militant Jewish Defense League (JDL) have been arrested on suspicion of plotting to blow up a Los Angeles
mosque and the office of an Arab-American congressman”.
JDL chairman Irv David Rubin, 56, and Earl Leslie Krugel, 59, were arrested on two federal accounts after explosive
materiel was delivered to Krugel's home. Other bomb components and weapons were seized at the home.
Federal authorities have revealed that the target list was extensive, including: office of the Muslim Public Affairs
Council in Los Angeles, the King Fahad mosque in Culver City and the offices of Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif..
Court papers have shown that Krugel believed that Arabs ``need a wake-up call.''
CNN anchors fell all over each other trying to sound as ‘politically correct’ as possible when accusing American Jews of
violent, extremist acts. The words “alleged” were emphasised while words like “assassination” and “terrorism” were
strangely omitted.
Sleeper cells, it seems, are not the exclusive domain of Muslims, much to the agony of Daniel Pipes, Charles
Krauthammer, Ann Coulter and Dave Crampton.
In related news, Fox News online reported that “Some 60 Israelis, who federal investigators have said are part of a
long-running effort to spy on American government officials, are among the hundreds of foreigners detained since the
Sept. 11 terror attacks” ( http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,40679,00.html).
Fox News online claims that the Israelis, described as active Israeli military or intelligence operatives, were not
involved in the WTC attacks but, “may have gathered intelligence about the attacks in advance and not shared it.”
This, from America’s ally and the biggest recipient of U.S. aid.
