Scoop Images: Empty Lake – Full Lake
More images of the environs of the most photogenic mountain village in the world taken by Norman Mackay .
Norman writes: “I thought you might enjoy a before and after photo of Lake Ohau. We have Had about 100mm of rain in the last five days which has really done wonders for the lake level, which was getting quite low. The photos I have sent are of the same rock in Lake Ohau. The only difference is the date each was taken. This really can be called photographic proof of the amount of rain that Lake Ohau has had in the past week. I would guess that the lake level has risen about 2 metres in the past week."
