More images of the environs of the most photogenic mountain village in the world taken by Norman Mackay .
Norman writes: “The weather is warming up at Lake Ohau, and Spring is most certainly in The air. There are few morning frosts, and the daytime temperature is reaching about 13C. 1. Middleton Reserve - taken
on the 29/8 from the edge of Lake Middleton. This area is
very popular with campers during the summer break, and we
can see several hundred campers here over the Christmas
period. The lake is used for jet boating, water skiing and
swimming.
2.Early Morning Lake Middleton
- taken on the 9/9 from the south side of the lake where it
joins the sheep station Shelton Downs. With the lovely
weather we have been having the lake looks quite inviting
and my dog Jade would spend all day swimming in the
lake.
