TOP SCOOPS
Howard’s End: Cut Out The Media Middle-man
- Do you remember when there were only one or two newspapers and your father always argued out loud with the
editorials? Do you remember the stories your local newspaper selected for you to read? Do you remember how control was
exercised over what you and your family thought? Those days are gone - aren't they? See... Howard's End: Free Press For Free People [1]
SCOOP S.O.S. Feedback: Angelic Encouragement
I work in the corporate sector where real revenue is earned and am very happy to reciprocate Scoop's initiative by
giving back. People and organisations who use Scoop should contribute. The Web is embryonic, traditional revenue models
are immature; corporates are generally clueless when it comes to using the web, they pontificate over small budget
promotions, angst over committing a few bucks, advertising agencies are often just as clueless about the web and wait
for some traditional media metric to pop up into their tarp-screen before being confident about committing a toe in the
water... -- Continues.... Scoop S.O.S. Feedback: Angelic Encouragement [1]
SCOOP S.O.S. Feedback: Reg’s Challenge To Scoop Users And Readers
Dear Scoop Team, I think you all do a magnificent job! PLEASE KEEP IT UP! Someones got to keep them honest and inform
us about what really goes on. I'm 72yrs old, have been an Activist for about 25 of these, and belong to several activist
groups. I have only recently become computer literate and enjoy receiving my daily Scoops,( since I am a news junkie),
but I like the real news, not the bullshit that gets printed in our daily newspapers, and shoveled into our minds by the
tripe that comes out of the big box that has come to dominate many of or lives and persuades us to think THEIR WAY about
many of the issues confronting us. -- Continues.... Scoop Feedback: Reg's Challenge To Scoop Readers [1]

Big News: Australia Fair’s Boundless Plains Not To Share
- How many asylum seekers were on the Tampa? It depends what paper you read, and on what day you read it. The Sydney
Morning Herald said there were 436, two days later they said 438. Reuters have said 460. Another paper said 434. See... Big News: Asylum Seekers Seeking Asylum [1]
Stateside: A Tale Of Two Californias
- I moved to the Bay area in December 1999, at the height of enthusiastic hysteria about what the "new economy" was
achieving, and there were homeless people, beggars, and the 2am Market Force Express here even then. See... Stateside With Rosalea: Make Work Pay [1] MORE: - Helen Clark - Asylum Seekers: PM Calls For International Action [2]

millions. See... Media Flash - Sept. 10, 2001 [1]
Hard News Is Here!
