Four more photos of the magical lake Ohau area from Norman Mackay .
First Light - pointing east and taken about 0745am. Surprisingly, it does not show the frost.
Magic Ohau Mountains - pointing west at the Ohau mountain range. The centre valley with the trees is a stream called Freehold Creek. Its where the water supply for the village comes from. Its very clear and cold water, and a delight to drink. Taken 25th July.
Angry Looking Ohau Sky - taken on the 13 Dec 2000, just before a storm arrived in the late evening. In the background is the Ohau mountain range.
Lake Middleton - taken in the afternoon of the 30 May this year. It shows the lovely Autumn colours with the lake looking very tranquil and peaceful.
