Irish Eyes: Another Day Done, But What About You?

Another day of weather then, not such a bad one, a day done, weatherwise anyway. Really there is nothing more to be said about the weather we have had today.

So, let’s talk about you for a moment. Enough about the weather, what we really want to know is how you are feeling, whether you’re worried about the world, the credit bubble in average American households, the not so secret groups of financiers running the world, that sort of thing. Not to mention plain old everyday inquiries such as how are you? And what’s it like being you when you are so far away from the things that are important to us here?

Some of you will be feeling under the weather, this is a result of looking up, perhaps for inspiration, perhaps in the hope of ascending instantly to heaven, and is a clear indication that you are feeling gloomy or in need of a boost. There is no easy solution to being under the weather other than getting on top of things. Stand on the chair a while. Perch yourself on top of the closet.

Letting the weather get you down is not uncommon and we here are very simpatico.

Now some others of you will be beaming. This is a result of an inner fission in which occurrences outside your body combine with thoughts inside in a pleasing manner. At times such as this the weather is all about you, and it’s not hard to get to feeling that things are really okay. Just watch out for grumpy underpaid people in shops. Now is an ideal time to make a cup of tea for yourself and those around you.

Last of all there is of course yourself, here and now, and well it’s not hard to see that you’re feeling as though something like this has happened before, but not quite in exactly the way it is happening now. You’ll find that shortly some other feeling will get a grip, fleetingly, like a rain drop sliding down a window pane, and this too will be familiarly unique and not unusual.

Plainly it has been a pleasure to finally talk like this with you, and well, we should do it again sometime soon.
