There are unconfirmed reports coming out of the US State Department that Iraq has begun to move military forces to the
West. The Hammurabi Brigade under the control of the Republican Guard is reported to be involved.

In another development in the Middle East crisis the US Pentagon has requested that video footage of an apparent suicide
attack against a US destroyer which killed and injured sailors in Yemen not be shown . US news media outlets at first
complied, but later showed the footage explaining the showing as "a mistake."
