NEWSFLASH: Speight’s Rebels Lay Down Arms

Fiji: George Speight’s rebels have agreed to lay down their arms in a move following the release of the remaining 18 hostages.
Radio New Zealand reports the weapons have been gathered together in a building, and will be taken by the army later today.
Meanwhile, the Council of Chiefs is meeting at the complex to decide on a new Deputy Prime Minister for the interim government
