Scoop Images: Wellington’s Civic Revolution

A meeting held last night by Waterfront Watch in the Old Town Hall to oppose the council’s plans for the Wellington Waterfront was attended by an unusually large crowd. The hall quickly filled to capacity and again – as happened last Thursday – people were turned away for lack of space. Scoop was there to soak up the atmosphere and take these photos. The council is planning a special meeting to consider the outcome from the public meeting next Monday.
