Geneva Healthcare has been awarded the ACC national contract to provide Integrated Home and Community Support Services (IHCS) for people throughout New Zealand who have sustained an injury and require community based rehabilitation, nursing and support services.
Geneva Healthcare is a trusted healthcare service provider with a proven track record working with ACC previously in providing Client and family centred care in our communities. With a highly skilled workforce consisting of Support Workers, Allied and Nursing Health professionals, the company is well positioned to provide integrated support that combines all aspects of injury recovery to optimise Client’s independence i.e. clinical, cultural, social and emotional, while remaining within the funding budget.
“Geneva has been working directly with ACC as a lead provider since 2012. Moving forward, ACC Clients referred to Geneva can continue to receive personalised healthcare that is responsive, community based and technologically innovative that goes beyond a purely clinical based support. As part of Geneva’s wrap around support, Clients will also receive allied health and community nursing services and a culturally responsive approach to their rehabilitation,” says Veronica Manion, Geneva Healthcare Chief Executive.
Having transparency over care is extremely important to ACC and Geneva. Geneva’s technology ecosystem includes the Geneva LIVE Remote Monitoring App and a Client portal, My Homecare, which enable real-time feedback between Geneva support teams and their Clients and Clients’ families.
As ACC injury claims increase and rehabilitation becomes increasingly more complex, Geneva is committed to providing the best quality care in our communities around New Zealand.
