Duty Calls for Temporary Healthcare Assistants

Published: Thu 2 Aug 2018 10:28 AM
Duty Calls, a division of HealthcareNZ Ltd, has been awarded a contract with Mid Central District Health Board for the provision of Temporary Healthcare Assistants. HealthCare New Zealand has recently been identified as one of three preferred providers for home and community support services in the mid central area.
“This contract is a reflection of Duty Calls’ experience and capability, and will boost our presence in a part of the country to which we are already deeply committed,” says Duty Calls Manager Ruth Hickey.
Duty Calls already provides temporary nursing and healthcare assistants to disability services in the region.
“These two contracts give us the chance to better utilise our staff across the mid central area, whilst at the same time providing a greater range of employment and career opportunities for our people.”
“Duty Calls is uncompromising in providing safe, highly competent staff, helping organisations manage changes in staffing needs that arise from events like school holidays or increased illness over winter months,” Mrs Hickey says.
