PSA supports striking ASMS members at ACC

The Public Service Association Te Pūkenga Here Tikanga Mahi supports the industrial action being taken by medical advisors at the Association of Salaried Medical Specialists (ASMS).
"All workers in Aotearoa New Zealand deserve fair treatment, and we stand with ASMS members taking industrial action," PSA National Secretary Glenn Barclay says.
"It is sadly ironic that an organisation which promotes wellbeing at work and claims to put ‘people before process’ should refuse to listen to its own staff.
"We note these are highly experienced senior doctors, most of whom have never taken industrial action in their careers.
"ASMS members taking this action will have the support of the PSA’s 65,000 members, who stand together with them for a better working life."
