Canterbury DHB CEO Update - Monday 30 October 2017
In today's CEO Update, Chief Executive David Meates profiles Canterbury Health System's involvement in the upcoming Health Informatics New Zealand conference and celebrates the 90th anniversary of Darfield Hospital. We share details on the care coordination platform, Cortex, that's helping reduce patients' average stays; say farewell to the hyperbaric chamber control panel; cover the 'Switch to Water' campaign looking to move people away from sugary drinks; reveal the new furniture at the Seager Clinic; and congratulate the keen steppers that raised over $5000 for Child Health in a walking fundraising challenge, with Lutz Beckert taking out 'most steps' with a whopping 698,318 across September.
