HELP FIND A CURE
Breast Cancer Cure (BCC), New Zealand’s only not-for-profit organisation devoted to finding a cure for breast cancer, host an array of exclusive events to help raise funds to support research.
One of BCC’s key fundraising events is Fashion For A Cure, which consist of four exclusive fashion evenings held in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown.
The 2017 line up kicked off in Auckland and was a huge success at the new Maserati Showroom. So successful it resulted in a new venue for the Christchurch event, which will be held at the prestigious Euromarque Showroom, 120 St Asaph St, Christchurch, Thursday, 21st September, 6pm.
Actor Blair Strang will be hosting the event, with pop singer Jamie McDell entertaining. Guests will enjoy a fashion evening showcasing New Zealand’s leading designers, including Trelise Cooper, Coop, Yvonne Bennetti, Andrea Moore, I AM, Federation, Moochi, Storm, RUBY and Liam, plus live and silent auctions.
All proceeds from the night will go directly towards funding more scientific research into finding a cure for breast cancer.
Phillipa Green from BCC comments, “Our work continues to grow in importance, 1 in 9 women in New Zealand will get breast cancer in their lifetime, our goal is to improve the survival rate and optimise the outcome for these women.”
She adds, “There is an urgent need to find a breast cancer cure and our supporters are fundamental in making that vision a reality. Attending one of our fundraising events is the best way for supporters to get behind us.”
There will be Louis Roederer Champange, The Ned Wines and Aperol Spritz aperitif cocktails, with canapés served throughout the evening - plus a fabulous goodie bag! Tickets ($125.00) are limited and will sell out quickly.
