February update from the Southern Partnership Group

The Southern Partnership Group is pleased to announce Sapere Research Group have been contracted to help develop the business case for the redevelopment of Dunedin Hospital.

Sapere have the experience and skills to speed up the redevelopment process building on the work already undertaken by Southern DHB, including using the DHB’s strategic health plan and audits on the condition of existing facilities. The strategic case for redevelopment is expected to be reviewed by the Capital Investment Committee and Ministers of Health and Finance later this year.

A number of workshops with key stakeholders are being planned to help inform the redevelopment process and to identify opportunities that might arise from the redevelopment work.
