Miracles happen. So can LifePods.
Sir Ray Avery’s Mondiale LifePod is a miracle waiting to happen. Ever since he saw a dire need for more reliable and
affordable infant incubators, Avery and his team of scientists and engineers have been hard at work innovating, to
provide a miracle for developing countries. That miracle is the Mondiale LifePod.
Revolutionary in design, the Mondiale LifePod can be produced for $2,000 per unit; a fraction of the cost of standard
incubators, which cost up to $45,000 each. Avery’s LifePod technology overcomes the odds. It does not rely on purified
water or a continuous power supply to function – as its modern counterparts do – which means it is a miracle for growing
countries.
Miracles do not happen in a bubble. When Avery approached creative digital agency Young & Shand to perform a miracle by encouraging New Zealanders to give the gift of life this Christmas, they came up with an
audacious advertising campaign. One that will be grab attention and help to keep little hearts beating around the world.
Young & Shand’s campaign goes live on December 19, 2015.
Young & Shand Creative Director, Tim Wood, said, “Christmas is an extremely challenging time to ask people for money. But it’s
also at this time of year when people often think about their own families and all they have to be thankful for. To grab
people’s attention, we used classic Christmas imagery and artwork and challenged people to think about those who really
needed our help the most. The messaging was deliberately provocative both to capture attention, but also to challenge
people to think about those who are in desperate need of some Christmas generosity. A gift to LifePod has the potential
to gift life to a newborn infant fighting for its life. A true Christmas miracle.”
Medicine Mondiale plans to start producing and rolling out the first wave of their affordable LifePod Incubators in
January 2016. Focusing on countries who need them most, they will start by supplying the Pacific region, including Papua
New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Samoa, Fiji, Tuvalu and Tonga. From there, they have their sights set on India and Nepal.

Avery said, “Young & Shand have slammed the ball out of the park with their ripper campaign. I can’t think of a better way to get people
talking about the miracle of life this Christmas and support the roll-out of the Mondiale LifePod across the Pacific
from January 2016.”
