Taranaki DHB confirms purchase of Fulford Radiology
Taranaki DHB (TDHB) confirmed today it has entered into an agreement for 100% ownership of Fulford Radiology. Fulford
Radiology Services Ltd (FRSL) is a joint venture company between Taranaki DHB and the radiologists.
George Thomas, Taranaki DHB Chief Financial Officer said, “It is anticipated the purchase will take place with the
transfer of shares to Taranaki DHB in January 2016.”
“Respecting the commercial sensitivities and the good faith agreement between the parties, we are unable to comment on
the details of the purchase at this stage and it will be ‘business as usual’ for both Taranaki DHB and Fulford Radiology
staff. It is our intention to keep all staff fully informed of details as they develop,” he added.
Mr Thomas said, “Fulford Radiology will continue to provide a high quality, effective radiology service to the people of
Taranaki.”
