Mother’s Day Lunch for a Cure

Mother’s Day Lunch for a Cure

Breast Cancer is one of the biggest threats to the future of New Zealand women. To help take a stand, Breast Cancer Cure (BCC) is hosting an exclusive Mother’s Day Lunch in the elegant ambiance of the homestead at Abbeville Estate.

On Sunday, 10th May at 12pm, Patron of BCC, Dame Trelise Cooper and BCC Ambassador Petra Bagust, accompanied by their mothers, will host a three-course lunch with wine of preference and a gift bag to take home.

There will be a number of great items up for grabs in a silent auction, a fabulous raffle and the Cure Shop will be open on the day too. All proceeds raised from the Mother’s Day Lunch will go directly towards finding a cure for breast cancer by 2018.

Phillipa Green at BCC, says: “It’s great to see mums being celebrated in a way that contributes towards the fight against breast cancer.”

“One woman every three hours will be diagnosed with breast cancer in this country, and nearly two women per day will die from the disease. Our objective is to protect our next generation of young girls from what their mothers and grandmothers are going through today,

Tickets for the Mother’s Day Lunch can be purchased for $145 per person. Book now at www.breastcancercure.org.nz
