Launch of online archive of nursing oral histories
Nau mai, haere mai. The Nursing Education and Research Foundation welcomes media to attend the launch of a new online
archive of nursing oral histories.
Speaking at the launch will be Auckland University history professor, Linda Bryder. Several of the nurses who have
recorded their oral histories will also be in attendance and available for interviews.
We are very excited about this project and the potential of it to improve people’s knowledge and understanding of
nursing history in New Zealand. Our intention is that this is the ‘go to’ site for information about nursing history in
New Zealand.
