Inspiring New Zealanders honoured at the Asthma Foundation Achievers' Awards
There was excitement, joy and tears as the winners of the Asthma Foundation Achievers' Awards were honoured at the Asthma Foundation's 50th anniversary celebrations at Government House. When speaking of the Achievers our Patron, the Governor General, said "They have been brave, resilient and diligent in terms of managing their condition while also achieving excellence. They are an inspiration to us all."
The Asthma Foundation Achievers’ Awards celebrate New Zealanders who achieve things despite the challenges their respiratory condition brings.
"Managing your respiratory condition can be the difference between letting it dominate your life, or living a healthy life and achieving your goals," said Angela Francis, chief executive of the Asthma Foundation.
