Diabetes NZ Conference to explore exciting developments
Diabetes NZ Conference to explore exciting developments in diabetes
Diabetes is one of New Zealand’s biggest health issues with over 225,000 people living with diabetes and each day another 50 people being diagnosed. Within eight short years diabetes is on track to cost New Zealand over a billion dollars each year in healthcare costs alone.
But it’s not all bad news. There are exciting things happening that may help turn the tide on the devastation diabetes causes.
The Diabetes NZ Conference will explore some of these developments, including leading edge research on Stem Cells and Xeno transplantation, and advances in technology for the treatment and management of diabetes.
Attached is a breakdown of the conference programme.
