Man hit by vehicle
This morning the Tauranga based TrustPower TECT Rescue
Helicopter was called to transfer a critically ill patient
from Tauranga hospital through to Waikato hospital.
The man, who looked to be in his twenties, was allegedly struck by a car which didn’t stop near Papamoa. He received critical head injuries as a result.
