Gold medal winner triumphs over injury
Gold Medal winning powerlifter says AstaSupreme helped him win a gold medal, then go on to set a Commonwealth record.
Nelson, New Zealand, August 08, 2012 –
Gold Medal winning Power-lifter Ron Prestage found his chronic shoulder pain was badly affecting his performance and training. So he started taking New Zealand made Natural Astaxanthin supplement ‘AstaSupreme’ after it was recommended to him and hasn’t looked back.
“The relief was apparent after a few days of taking Astaxanthin. My joint health and recovery from strenuous exercise has been great and I have continued to take the supplement and carry on with my competitive powerlifting.” States Ron.
In 2009 Ron claimed the New Zealand Bench Press record for Masters 3 lifters (60 – 70 years) with a 121kg lift. In 2011 he followed this up in the Masters 4 class (70 – 80 years) with a New Zealand record lift of 122.5kg.
He also gained a gold medal and set a Commonwealth Bench Press record at the Commonwealth Championships in Bournemouth, England.
“I am certain the Astaxanthin supplement is very beneficial for overall health and in particular for anyone striving to achieve a high level of physical strength and capability. I use the Astaxanthin-containing AstaSupreme, manufactured in Nelson by Supreme Biotechnologies NZ Ltd” Ron said.
