Homeopathy has a valuable role in New Zealand’s Health Industry
The New Zealand Council of Homeopaths endorses the findings of a Swiss report by Bornhoft et al, the most comprehensive analysis of homeopathy done by a government. This report has affirmed that homeopathic treatment is both efficient and cost-effective and should be reimbursed by the Swiss NHS and insurance schemes. (Dana Ullman, 2012)
“This is a well researched evidence based paper and should be considered by those in the health profession as a definitive start to implementing homeopathy as a Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) therapy ” said Gwyneth Evans spokesperson for the NZCH.
Pre-clinical basic research and high quality clinical studies were researched and findings were able to affirm that homeopathic high-potencies induced balancing or normalizing effects and specific changes in cells or living organisms.
The Swiss report cited 29 studies in "Upper Respiratory Tract Infections/ Allergic Reactions," of which 24 studies found a positive result in favor of homeopathy. Further, six out of seven controlled studies showed that homeopathy to be more effective than conventional medical interventions (the one other trial found homeopathic treatment to be equivalent to conventional medical treatment). All of these results from homeopathic treatment came without the side effects common to conventional drug treatment. In evaluating only the randomized placebo controlled trials, 12 out of 16 studies showed a positive result in favor of homeopathy.”
“Circumstances have never been as opportune as now, in the quantum era for homeopathy to come to full acceptance by western medicine. The burgeoning new field of scientific research emerging from the convergence of nanoscience, biotechnology and quantum physics is paving the way for biologists to be able to understand the level at which homeopathy induces healing responses”, says Judyann McNamara, a Canadian homeopath, director of the Montreal College of Classical Homeopathy, and former physicist.
Homeopaths in New Zealand and around the globe are excited that the time has come to confidently say that quantum research describes in depth how homeopathic preparations stimulate self-healing in living organisms.
Just as phenomena such as human metabolism, cell division, photosynthesis in plants, or bird navigation show that invisible quantum forces are orchestrating these processes. The only evidence of these forces at work is their effects on the living organisms and systems.
The rapid growth of homeopathy worldwide and clients’ feedback about their positive health outcomes are giving proof that homeopathy is a safe, effective and affordable treatment choice for many short term and persistent health issues with a success history as a healing science of more than 200 years.
The New Zealand Council of Homeopaths would like to see the recommendations and results of the Swiss report considered by our government for regulating and integrating homeopathy into public health in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
