Dr Graham Stokes Talks about Dementia to Bupa Family and Friends
Bupa Care Services are inviting family and friends to hear author and
internationally recognised Dementia expert Dr Graham Stokes speak at one of three forums to be held in Auckland and Wellington in November. More than 43,000 New Zealanders have dementia and this number is set to double every 20 years. This increase is due to the fact that dementia has no cure (New Zealand is an ageing population).
Bupa welcomes families and any others who are interested in learning more about dementia and Alzheimer's to attend these forums, which offer a rare opportunity to hear and learn from Dr Stokes, a global dementia expert. These will be informal meetings with opportunities for questions and interaction, time to mingle and chat with other attendees.
The focus will be on practical help and advice for families and friends.
