Aged-care champions celebrated at NZACA Conference.
The NZ Aged Care Association continues to celebrate aged-care success stories in partnership with the newspaper, Aged-Care & Retirement INsite.
“At the NZACA conference (Rotorua, September 13-15) we’ll announce the winners of the forth annual INsite/NZACA Excellence in Care Awards.
“These awards celebrate innovation and care. They help providers and carers share ideas and learn.
“And they give a voice to the people we care for too – residents often feature in finalists’ presentations.
“In a time when media coverage always seems to be negative, these awards help to give the dedicated people in our sector a different perspective.”
Mr Taylor said previous winners have literally made older people’s wishes come true.
The Overall INsite Award will be chosen from the winners of each category on Tuesday afternoon following finalist presentations to conference delegates.
