Hearing Awareness Week

For Immediate Release

Hearing Awareness Week

Sunday 22 August to Saturday 28 August is Hearing Awareness Week, a week dedicated to raising awareness about hearing impairment and allow Australians living with a hearing impairment to generate a greater understanding about their situation .

The theme of this Hearing Awareness Week is ‘Access All Ages’, an idea that is supported by Tunstall Healthcare, the world’s leading provider of telehealthcare.

Nationally distributed by Tunstall Healthcare, the Bellman© Audio Domino is a personal hearing system that assists people living with a hearing impairment to access their surrounds and bring out speech in difficult listening situations.

Designed by Bellman & Symfon of Sweden, Bellman’s Audio Domino is ideal for use in the home when chatting with friends and relatives, at work in meetings and seminars, at school when listening to the teacher, in noisy restaurants, in the car and while watching TV.

The Bellman Audio Domino uses a transmitter to pick up sound, such as a teacher talking and then strips away background noise and clarifies the speech.

The sound is transmitted to a wireless radio receiver, allowing easy listening without background noise.

The Bellman Audio Domino can even be connected to the TV so that the sound can remain at a reasonable level for everyone else, but amplified for the person using the Domino.

The Bellman Audio Domino is easy to use with a single button accessing all features and can be used with other personal listening devices such, as hearing aids.

The Bellman Audio Domino comes as a complete package; ready for a variety of listening situations.

Tunstall is proud to promote the Bellman Audio Domino to people living with a hearing impairment and allow them to access speech in difficult listening situations.
