Hear Hear for Mum
If mum is a little hard of hearing these days, Tunstall Healthcare offers a range of Bellman & Symfon devices to ensure she never misses a phone call, ding of the door bell, smoke alarm or wakeup call again.
Designed for people with hearing impairments, including carers, Tunstall’s Bellman & Symfon range use various sounds, flashing lights and vibration to ensure the resident is kept informed of activity around the home.
Bellman & Symfon offer a range of receivers that use flashing lights and sound to notify the resident that a device such as the door bell, smoke alarm or pressure mat has been activated.
The Bellman & Symfon Visit Flash Receiver attracts mums attention with powerful and distinct flashes and uses different coloured LEDs to quickly show mum which device has been activated such as the door bell, smoke alarm, or telephone.
The Bellman & Symfon pager is discrete and portable, allowing mum to move around the home and garden, but still be alerted though a range of vibrations, light signals and colours when a device has been activated.
The pager can also be used when caring for mum, and interfaced with monitoring devices, quickly alerting the wearer when mum undertakes certain activity, such as getting out of the chair or heading to the bathroom.
Bellman & Symfon have also developed an alarm clock and bed shaker to ensure mum never misses a wakeup call again.
Like the Visit Flash Receiver and pager, The Bellman & Symfon alarm clock uses flashing light and magnified sound to wake mum, as well as notifying her when the phone is ringing, door bell dings or smoke alarm is activated.
Bellman & Symfon offer a portable baby monitor, so that nanna also knows when the baby is crying or needs some extra cuddles.
Bellman & Symfon products can be connected to Tunstall’s assistive devices to help people with hearing impairments care for mum, knowing they will be alerted when mum needs assistance.
