Napier Incident Patient Update

As at 2pm
Hawke’s Bay District Health Board confirms three patients were brought into the Emergency Department following an incident in Napier earlier this morning
All three patients - two police officers and one civilian - underwent surgery for gunshot wounds and have been admitted to Hawke’s Bay Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit
At this time the three patient conditions are listed as serious..
HBDHB will issue an update once further information comes to hand.
