Unexpected Death Of Dpa President
DPA President Eamon Daly’s unexpected death on February 1 has come as a real shock to members nationwide.
DPA’s CEO Gary Williams says “this is just devastating. Eamon brought to disabled peoples’ advocacy his unique blend of academia, politics and disability. He was focused on the future.
Eamon was very much a contributor, both to his Christchurch community, and to New Zealand. He was actively engaged with community boards, statutory bodies, national politics and disability organisations. He had just begun his term as DPA’s national president and was bringing his energies to that role too.”
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Eamon’s family and friends.
