Dental caravan found
Following information from the public Hawke’s Bay District Health Board’s mobile dental clinic has been found in Wairoa - minus $70,000 worth of dental equipment.
Last week the unit which was being serviced in Napier was stolen from an Onekawa workshop.
Service manager Claire Caddie said thanks to information from the public the police were able to locate the caravan, earlier this week, and although all the equipment had been taken the shell itself was in good condition.
Replacing the dental equipment could take three to four months and the DHB was working out how the dental service would be delivered to Wairoa during this time, she said.
Anyone who had any information regarding the whereabouts of the missing dental equipment should contact the police or Claire Caddie at the DHB
