Second Semester intakes for Nursing and Early Childhood at Wintec
Wintec’s additional intake for Early Childhood Education has been well received, with the class already tracking above capacity. Wintec Public Relations Manager Anna Carter said Bachelor of Nursing applications were also growing with a good level of enquiry received. She said a collaborative promotion with the Waikato DHB to meet a significant regional nursing shortage was proving to be successful however staff from the Wintec School of Health team were also looking to take part in a series of career days to be held at regional hospitals to promote the numerous work choices the degree offers.
