Renowned Research Scientists to Visit Auckland

Internationally Renowned Research Scientists to Visit Auckland
Two internationally renowned research scientists, Bruce H. Lipton PhD and Dawson Church PhD, will visit Auckland in March to share their views on the future of healthcare and relationships.
Bruce H. Lipton PhD, the bestselling author of The Biology of Belief, is a cellular biologist, former medical school professor and current visiting lecturer at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. His pioneering research on cloned stem cells at Wisconsin’s and Stanford’s Schools of Medicine presaged the revolutionary field of epigenetics, the new science of how environment and perception control genes.
Dawson Church PhD, has edited or authored many books, and collaborated with many best-selling authors, including Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad), Deepak Chopra, John Gray (Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus), Wally "Famous" Amos, and others. He founded the Soul Medicine Institute to research and teach emerging psychological and medical techniques that can yield fast and radical cures. His new book, The Genie in Your Genes, pioneers the field of Epigenetics, (the control of genes from outside the cell), explaining the remarkable self-healing mechanisms now emerging from this science. It has been hailed as a brilliant breakthrough by leading scientists.
Drs Lipton and Church will join local experts Dr Robin Kelly, Dr Louisa Walker and Dr Tim Ewer to present animated lectures on the topics of Energy Psychology, Energy Medicine and Epigenetics.
Dr Robin Kelly, FRNZCGP, says the events, supported by the Ashton Wylie Charitable Trust, provide a unique opportunity for New Zealand health professionals to learn and interact with leading researchers in this growing field.
“Energy Psychology, including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Thought Field Therapy (TFT) are gaining wide acceptance with mainstream and complementary heath practitioners alike, and these events will provide valuable insights into these fields.
“We are very privileged to have both Bruce and Dawson joining us for these lectures, their work in this field is truly inspirational and I would encourage health professionals from all disciplines to attend. Spaces are limited, so interested parties should register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment,” says Dr Kelly.
Three Auckland-based events are scheduled: an introduction evening and discussion to be held on Friday 7 March at the Hopetoun Alpha ($30 GST inclusive); a full day intensive lecture and workshop on Saturday 8 March at Massey University’s Albany Campus ($165 GST inclusive, including lunch and morning and afternoon tea) and a half-day relationship workshop (facilitated by Dr Church and his partner Catherine McLenaghan) to be held at Massey University’s Albany Campus on Sunday 9 March ($75 per person or $130 per couple GST inclusive).
