Jacob Oram Raises Vital Funds and Awareness
New Zealand’s Jacob Oram Raises Vital Funds and Awareness for the NZBCF During Twenty20 Match
MELBOURNE, Feb. 06 /Medianet International-AsiaNet/ --
New Zealand cricketer Jacob Oram smashed nine boundaries during last night’s Twenty20 match against England in aid of generating funds and awareness for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF) thanks to bat-sponsor GRAY-NICOLLS.
Using his Pink gripped bat, each boundary Oram scored represented a $200.00 donation to the NZBCF from GRAY-NICOLLS. Unfortunately Daniel Vettori was injured and was unable to assist Oram in scoring as many boundaries as possible. Oram certainly made up for this, making a huge 61 in an exciting and showstopping innings.
GRAY-NICOLLS announced the partnership with these New Zealand cricketers and the NZBCF Wednesday 23 January.
Oram will continue to hit boundaries and raise funds for the NZBCF at the next Twenty20 match on Thursday 7 February.
GRAY-NICOLLS Pink Grips are now for sale in all good cricket retailers. For each grip sold, GRAY-NICOLLS will donate $1.00 to the NZBCF.
