Bon Jovi Guitar Raised $1000's For Child Cancer NZ

Signed Bon Jovi Guitar Raised Thousands Of Dollars For Child Cancer In NZ

Capital C: Concerts, the rock group BON JOVI, VISA Entertainment and Classic Hits Radio have delivered a seasonal cheer by announcing that a Fender Guitar signed by the four band members was successfully auctioned on Trademe and reaching just short of $19,000 just before Christmas.

In 2006, Visa and the promoter initiated the first online auction of it's kind in NZ with a Meet & Greet with Sir Elton John which made $11,000 for the NZ Aids Foundation. Says Phil Sprey of Capital C: Concerts, "it is great to see Kiwis again responding to a good cause and when they know 100% of the money goes to the charity they are more than willing to support worthy local charities."

Money raised from the guitar is going to the NZ Child Cancer Foundation. The Auction winner has chosen to stay anonymous.

Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan and Tico Torres who signed the instrument, will be performing at Bon Jovi - 'The Lost Highway' Tour Concert in Christchurch on January 27th.

Fans who missed out on this fantastic prize can still make donations to the Child Cancer Foundation at www.childcancer.org.nz.

Thanks to all those who bided on this great item and thanks to Bon Jovi.
