Methven ‘Positively Pink’
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Methven Satinjet shared the pink message for Breast Cancer Awareness month with a positively pink evening event for their valued female clients and plumbing industry partners.
The evening was held at the new Westin Lighter Quay Hotel in Auckland and supported by the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation who provided an informative and potentially life saving presentation to promote the ‘early detection is the best protection’ message.
In true tradition of an all women event there was pink grapefruit juice, pink bubbles, gorgeous goodie bags, a lot of ‘networking’ and a fashion show finale featuring ‘Shades of Pink’ by renowned New Zealand designer and businesswoman Annah Stretton . For Methven the event offered the opportunity to say thank you to their female merchant staff and customers as well as being an opportunity to share the experience with female partners of the plumbing industry.
Methven New Zealand marketing manager, Elizabeth Thomas said that the event was a “first for Methven where the focus was on their female industry partners in a what is a male dominated industry and judging by the initial feedback it is something that is sure to become an annual event which they hope to repeat around the country.”
Ms Thomas also said that the shower had particular importance to woman’s health as is often the first point of self examination, hence the very special connection between the Satinjet shower range and the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
The event also offered Methven the opportunity to showcase their recently launched beauty shower, which is receiving rave reviews in the USA and is promoted by US Ambassdor for Methven, Rachel Hunter.
