The Meningitis Trust undertakes to raise awareness of all types of meningitis and its signs and symptoms. Early recognition of this disease can and has saved many lives and prevents young children and adults from dying or being left with serious side effects. To that end the Trust makes available and promotes: a 24 hour help line, a counseling service, one to one contact, financial support grants, and a community network.
