Recall Notice

Signature Range Lighten Up Light and Fruity Breakfast Cereal 500g
Contains nuts not declared on label

Hubbard Foods Ltd is conducting a voluntary product withdrawal and recall on Signature Range Lighten Up Light and Fruity Breakfast Cereal 500g with a best before date of 27/03/08.

The product is being recalled due to the presence of peanuts which are not declared in the ingredients. This product poses a health risk only to those with an allergy to nuts. Hubbard Foods would like to apologise for this unintentional lapse in process control.

The cereal is manufactured by Hubbard Foods and sold through Foodtown, Countdown, Woolworths, Woolworths @ Gull, SuperValue, FreshChoice supermarkets nation-wide.

Supermarket owner Progressive Enterprises says the product withdrawal and recall was actioned as soon as the company was made aware of the situation. Progressive Enterprises regrets any inconvenience caused to their customers.

People who have an allergy to nuts are advised not to consume this product. They should return any product with the Best Before Date of 27/03/08 to where they bought it for a full refund. If people have consumed this product and have a concern about their health they are advised to seek medical attention.

The recall is limited to Signature Range Lighten Up Light and Fruity Breakfast Cereal 500g with a best before date of 27/03/08.
