Alcohol Healthwatch congratulates Rainbows End for deciding not to go ahead with plans to sell alcohol in their park café.
Director Rebecca Williams says she has been advised by the parks general manager Evan Wheeler that while alcohol will remain part of their conference activities, the parks governing body has decided not to add alcohol to the menu of the fun park’s café.
Williams says they can be proud of the decision and thinks it reflects the thoughtful consideration of the issues and community concerns.
Rainbow’s End has resisted pressure to sell liquor and by doing so has set a new standard for other child and family focussed venues to meet.
